Obituary for Ray L. Maurer
Ray L. Maurer, age 61, of New Athens, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 20, 1056 in Red Bud, IL, the son of the late Paul W. and Betty Lou (Shoemaker) Maurer.
Ray is survived by his four siblings: Gary (Bernita) Maurer of Waterloo, Roger (Deborah) Maurer of Freeburg, Robert (Janice) Maurer of Belleville and Mary (John) Becker of Belleville; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and friends.
Ray worked in sales for Schulte Supply Co.
Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 310 N. Main St., Hecker IL. A memorial mass will immediately follow the visitation.
