Obituary for Wray M. Barr (Bishop)

Wray Barr, age 79, passed away at 11:24 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Cedar Ridge Care Center in Lebanon. She was born December 3, 1938 in Tybee Island, GA, the daughter of the late Loran and Gertrude (Toole) Bishop. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Barr; and a sister, Catherine.

She is survived by her children: David (Sheila) Barr, Robert(Jessica) Barr and Michelle Barr; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ms. Barr was formerly active with St. Clare Catholic Church in O’Fallon and the USO.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Kalmer Memorial Services, located on Rt. 50 between Lebanon and O’Fallon, with services immediately follow with Rev. Jim Deiters officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Shiloh.
