Harold Woods, age 66, of Greenfield, Illinois, died Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon, Illinois. He was born March 8, 1951 in Carrollton, Illinois, the son of the late Billy and Neita (Costello) Woods. He married Sharon Ruble July 7, 2004. She survives. Also surviving are three step-children: Frank (Christina) Marshall of Jacksonville, Illinois, Harriet Pollaro of Henderson, Nevada and Frances Pollaro of Greenfield, Illinois; one step-grandchild, Keyonna Pollaro; two step-great grandchildren: Truly and Keylen Pollaro; and three siblings: Shirley (Dennis) Gross of Springfield, Illinois, William “Tony” (Grace) Woods of Athensville, Illinois and Jennie Woods of Springfield, Illinois.

In addition to loving his dogs, Harold loved farming and building things. He formerly worked as a high school teacher in Marion, Illinois, as well as employment with Midkiff Implement Dealer in Greenfield for 21 years, and 20 years with the Jacksonville Developmental Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Hall, 1011 Chestnut St. in Greenfield, IL. A private family committal service will be held at a later date.
