Obituary for George Kloos

George  Kloos
George Kloos, age 89, of Lebanon, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon. He was born February 9, 1928 in St. Louis, the son of the late George and Elouise (Crowell) Kloos. He married Verla Baer. She survives. Also surviving are four children: Linda (Jim) Trame of Lebanon, Karen (Ron) Sensel of Fredericktown, MO, Richard (Sharon) Kloos of Trenton and Laurie (Al) Harris of Trenton; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Kloos of Arizona.

Mr. Kloos was a US Army veteran of WW II and the Korean War and was employed as a bricklayer. He was a member of AF and AM East Lodge 504, a member of the Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. He enjoyed hunting and fising, especially with his grandchildren.

Visiatation will be from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Kalmer Memorial Services, located on Rt. 50 between Lebanon and O’Fallon. A memorial service will immediately follow. Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
