Ronald Little, Sr., age 72, of New Baden, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 12, 1944 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Harry and Chloe (Irvin) Little. He married Dora Johnson July 12, 1963 in East St. Louis. She survives.
He is the proud father of four sons: Ronald Little, Jr. (Robert Everright) of Swansea, Michael (Susan Little of Swansea, Greg (Teresa) Little of Aviston and Mark Little of New Baden; seven grandchildren: Steven, Ashley, Andrew, Matthew, Brennen, Bryant and Hailey; four great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Memphis, Gabriel and Kali; two sisters: Jenny Busch and Rose Oliver; and three brothers: Harry Little, Harold Little and Lonnie "Mikey" Little.
Ronald is also survived by his four-legged buddies, Charlie and Parker; his best friend, Gene Cleamer; and his special friends at church: Pastor Terry Crownover, Ivan and Una, and all of his christian brothers and sisters from Spring Valley Baptist Church in Shiloh, where he was a member.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Spring Valley Baptist Church in Shiloh. Memorial contributions may be given to Spring Valley Baptist Church.
